GROUP THERAPY

WHAT IS GROUP THERAPY?

Group therapy involves 4-8 people meeting with a trained counselor. Members talk about relationships, self-esteem, and coping skills. They share information about themselves and provide feedback to others while group leaders facilitate productive communication in the group.

Issues discussed in group therapy:

  • Anxiety and pain

  • Chronic pain and illness

  • Depression

  • Eating Disorders

  • Social Anxiety

  • Substance Abuse

  • Traumatic Experiences
